Gordon Payne - Citrix Systems


Senior Vice President/General Manager Delivery Systems
Citrix Systems

Gordon Payne is Senior Vice President and General Manager of the Delivery Systems Division for Citrix. He is responsible for the group's revenue attainment, product management, business development and strategic direction. Prior to this position, Gordon served as group vice president and general manager, for Citrix's Advanced Solutions Group and as the product line executive of Emerging Products for the company's Virtualization Systems Group. In both roles, Gordon was responsible for leading cross-functional teams to bring new and unique solutions to market. A network business veteran on an international scale, Payne provides product leadership with a focus on identifying new market opportunities and creating winning business and product solutions for Citrix customers and partners.

Gordon joined Citrix in December of 2004, through the $50M acquisition of Net6, Inc., a leader in SSL VPN Secure Remote Access and IP Telephony Application Solutions. With Net6, a Silicon Valley based start-up, he held the positions of both chief marketing officer and chief financial officer, establishing a strong position for the company leading up to the acquisition by Citrix Systems, Inc.

Prior to Net6, Gordon held senior management positions in two venture-backed Networking start-ups. Previously with Nortel Networks he was vice president and general manager of the Call Centre/CRM and Enterprise Wireless Business Units. In 17 years with Nortel, he worked in the Carrier Networks, Wireless Networks, and Enterprise Solutions lines of business and lived in Canada, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia and the United States.

Gordon holds an M.B.A. from IMD in Lausanne, Switzerland and a B.A. in Commercial Studies from the University of Western Ontario in Canada.

Rob Willis - Citrix Systems

Rob Willis was named Vice President, Asia Pacific for Citrix Systems in November 2008. Willis assumes the responsibility for all Citrix Asia Pacific revenues, as well as marketing, support, operations and new market development throughout Asia Pacific, which includes Greater China, South Korea, ASEAN, India, Australia and New Zealand.

Previously, Willis served as the Area Vice President of Australia and New Zealand, and had led the region to achieve the largest contribution to the Pacific region. Willis joined Citrix in 2005 and has since won several accolades for his sterling performance including topping the worldwide sales quota in FY 2007.

An industry veteran, Willis has over two decades of sales, marketing and operational experience in the technology industry. He has held several senior management roles across Asia and United States of America. Prior to joining Citrix, he was the Senior Vice President of Optical Services for IP Networks in San Francisco and Vice President of Advanced Packet Solutions of Nortel Networks where he was responsible for driving growth in the Americas, Europe and Asia markets.

Adam Jaques - Citrix Systems

Adam Jaques is responsible for a team of Citrix Labs engineers, who work directly on emerging Citrix products and future technologies. With over ten years experience at Citrix, Jaques has been a key player in the delivery of popular technologies which can be seen in the Citrix Delivery Center today. The successful release of many products, features and projects have been a direct result of his leadership and drive, with the most recent achievement being Citrix XenDesktop and the Citrix Receiver for iPhone.

As part of Jaques' strategic role, he also plays a regular part in due diligence activities which occur in association with acquisitions that Citrix has executed.

Jaques also has a passion for promoting the products, solutions and value that Citrix can provide to solve real business problems, and is a regular keynote speaker at Citrix customer and partner events.

Jaques has earned a Bachelor of Computer Engineering with first class honors from Wollongong University in Sydney, Australia.

Yajnish Malik - Citrix Systems Inc

Yaj Malik is the Area Vice President, ASEAN for Citrix Systems Inc. Malik is responsible for ASEAN revenues as well as marketing and services operations. Based in Singapore, Malik leads a team of approximately 65 Citrix professionals and 90 channel and distribution partners across Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

Since joining Citrix in 2003, Malik has been responsible for establishing and growing Citrix operations in ASEAN region. Under his leadership, Citrix in ASEAN has grown at a compounded annual growth rate of 25 percent, making it a key growth region for Citrix worldwide.

With 20 years of information technology industry experience in Asia and the United States, Malik brings with him invaluable experience in building and managing successful regional business. He has held several senior management positions with organisations including Vignette, IBM Software Group and SGS-Thomson Microelectronics.

Malik holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science from the University of Sussex, UK.

Richard Parnell - Citrix Systems

Richard Parnell is a solutions advisor and technology specialist at Citrix Asia Pacific. In nearly eight years with the company, Richard has become one of the top specialists in Citrix products and technologies across the entire Citrix portfolio. Richard has more than 15 years experience in the IT industry and has held roles ranging from web developer to CTO with companies including Spike Networks, The AFL, Westpac and Avanade.

Based on his extensive technical background, Richard works closely with all Citrix groups to help develop how Citrix showcases their technology to the world. Richard works with a number of global and local teams, including Citrix Labs, Product Marketing, Product Management and various field sales teams, developing the best strategies to deliver Citrix technologies visually and technically to customers and partners throughout Asia Pacific.

Richard is a regular keynote presenter at Citrix events across the Asia Pacific region. He has spoken at Citrix iForum, Partner Accelerator and Regional Analyst Conferences, and has also been invited to present at US events such as Citrix Synergy.
